"DUI Jury Trial” is the true story of an unfortunate turn of events, where a minor traffic violation on an Illinois highway leads to a three year journey through the legal system of the second largest County in the State of Illinois. The stakes are high for the defendant, who is a truck driver. If convicted of DUI, he would be disqualified from ever driving a truck in his lifetime. This is also the story of the two defense attorneys who argued the case and brought in a DUI expert witness. This book contains the transcripts from the jury trial, on which the jury’s verdict would determine the fate of one man’s livelihood, and his life. For the defendant, everything in his world was riding on one jury’s verdict.

About the Author

William Pelarenos is a retired police officer, author, talk radio personality and a DUI expert witness, who testified as an expert witness in the DUI jury trial that this book recounts. Mark Sciblo is a criminal defense attorney who has defended many clients charged with DUI as well as other criminal cases, during his 29 year tenure as an attorney.
