About the Book

A Message to the Reader The words and illustrated pictures are the creative works of Maureen Sky (Author) and Maricella Obando Moya (Artist/Illustrator). Maureen wanted to create a short story type picture book of her granddaughter, Kennedy, and her bink (pacifier) and knew that with the help of her dear friend, Maricella, a wonderful picture book would be the result. We hope that as you read the lines and turn the colorful pages that you are happy and smiling while enjoying this unique and beautifully illustrated picture book with your small children for many years to come. About the Author

Author, Maureen Sky, lives in Bernardston, MA with her husband, Ed and their male tiger cat, Grueby. Now retired, she spends her time writing, reading, painting with acrylics and watercolors, crafting, cooking/baking, gardening, and enjoying nature. Although her two published books are written for the young reader ages 9-12 (“Middle Age Fantasy”), Maureen also enjoys writing short stories and poems. Maureen’s experiences with her granddaughter, Kennedy, helped inspire her to write and create this beautiful picture book for small children with the help of her dear friend and beautiful illustrator, Maricella Obando Moya.
