About the Author

Carolyn Avis was born in Brooklyn, New York, and grew up in Port Washington, Long Island. She is a graduate of Bryan University in Los Angeles, California, and has a degree in Health Information Management. She now resides in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, with her daughter and her dog, Siva. This is her first novel.
