About the Book

I have often wondered whether my tendency to travel back to my childhood memories is a regression or denial of change. In all honesty, I believe that there is a child in all of us who wants from time to time to be mothered and sheltered again. I hope that as I walk through the pages of my life, you too will be stirred to remember those moments you cherish in your own life. The book also portrays a dilemma of trying to fit in two different cultures, which propels the heart toward childhood memories.

About the Author

Sarah Adundo Kirowo is Kenyan born, a nurse by profession, who immigrated to the United Kingdom as a skilled worker. She believes that her journey was ordained by God. Born of a humble family who were loving and dedicated to their girls’ education when others did not believe so, she narrates the positive influence that family, friends, and teachers had in her life as she grew up and in her future success.
