About the Book
The Cow Who Couldn’t Say Moo is the story of a young cow named Florence, who, through perseverance and the help of a new friend, manages to overcome her difficulty, making the M sound. Children of all ages will rejoice with Florence when she is finally able to say “moo” like all the other cows. Those children who have difficulty producing certain letter sounds will especially relate to this story, which will encourage them to keep on trying and never give up.
About the Author
Frieda Oelrich is a retired teacher. She grew up and still lives in a rural community in Central Wisconsin. Since her retirement, she has continued to work with children by substitute teaching, tutoring, volunteering and working with English As a Second Language students at her local school. She was involved with her church as a Sunday School teacher for twenty-eight years. As a teacher, children’s books were her passion and she was enthusiastic about reading and sharing all aspects of them. She loved writing books for and with her kindergarten and first grade students. Her passion for Children’s literature initiated the writing of “Renee Raindrop,” her first book. “The Cow Who Couldn’t Say “Moo” is her second published work.
