To the left of us, lives a Teacup Chihuahua by the name of Miss Fifi. Two years ago, lovely Miss Fifi stopped smiling. After twelve years together, her best friend Lulu, the little White Maltese passed away and the grief hit Miss Fifi hard. But Miss Fifi is now smiling again thanks to a lovely Pelican by the name of Pierre. One day, something magical happened. As Miss Fifi laid on the veranda of her home, she received a visitor. From out of nowhere, a pelican waddled up to the unhappy Miss Fifi and snuggled up next to her. Miss Fifi barked wildly at the pelican, but he looked at her lovingly and began chatting to her. The wise old pelican calmed Miss Fifi down and they chatted all afternoon. This lovely pelican began visiting Miss Fifi every Tuesday, and the pair had become the best of friends. Now Miss Fifi had found her smile once more.

Trish Rinia I was born in Queensland, Australia and started writing children's stories in 2016. I have created original stories hoping to pass on a love of reading and appreciation of literature, bringing joy and delight to both parents and children. It was my intention to bring parents and children together with the hope of building and strengthening the bonds of love, respect and understanding that would lasts a life time.
