About the Book

This book of songs and poems are both personal and explicit, to the point of true feelings and passion. It compasses about a time in history and era in Trinidad and Tobago. When as a young man, I was caught up in the aspirations of love and civil unrest, to which these words induce. I can remember a spiral world of art, music, and literature arose out of this phenomenon. The powers that be, such as the head of State and religious and ethnic groups were criticized, where marches and shouts of power filled the air and slogans that read “Indians and Africans Unite.” In these scripts, you will sense the reality of love, anger, slight humor, and forgiveness as presented In Mind of the Future.

About the Author

Fifty years ago, I had written these formulas that were lodged in my mind, they are the pieces put together for the benefit of relating to others my thoughts and feelings for my fellowman and woman. But first let me introduce myself, I am Lennon Romain born on November 13th 1944 to the most beautiful people in the world. My early childhood in Trinidad my birthplace as I can recall was thoughtfully playful in that I mean I think very hard when I had fun, which sometimes can lead to being punished, nevertheless this is the moment of truth.
