I Never Felt Loved is a story about a reserved teenager named Josie and her friend-to-the-rescue, Patsy. After her first time, unexpected visit with Mother Nature (her menstrual cycle), Josie being bullied and demeaned by her classmates, humiliated by her guardian, Neela, was left feeling devalued and unloved.

About the Author

Dorothy A. Burdette-Boyd is the Author of “The Trio Kids;” a former Fortune-Five-Hundred Flight & Truck Operation Manager for FedEx Express; an Independent Senior Sales Director for Mary Kay Cosmetics. She is mother to the awe-inspiring Keely Henderson of Cordova, TN; has 3 beautiful grand-children, Bryanna, Charlie, & Marlon; and married to her tender and warm hearted soul mate, Ronald L. Boyd of Memphis, TN. Dorothy’s reason for writing is to encourage children to read more as an opportunity to explore self-awareness, and areas where personal growth, and self-improvement is needed.
