About the Book
During the mid-1400s in the land of Musselshell, two souls find everlasting love at the town’s harvest festival. Narrated by Helena, a chaste woman of faith, Octaves of Sammy tells of an eight-day observance between her and a heroic warrior named Sammy. Within these eight days, she is rescued from flames, followed by an unknown lurking shadow, is bound in love, discovers the true character of Sammy, and learns that both faith and love truly do conquer all.
About the Author
Amra found her poetical voice when she wrote this book. Amranese, her first poetry book published in 2011, was a concise form of four words that delved deep into rhetoric. In, Octaves of Sammy, she opens the depths of the reader's emotions by writing a poetic love story. Amra found a passion for writing poetry as a child in Montana, where surrounded by nature's beauty, she easily became inspired to explore her mind with written words. Although she resides in Las Vegas, Nevada, she still calls Montana her home. The loving mother of two sons and a daughter-in-law, Amra's greatest joy comes from being with her family.
