About the Book

This book is about Christee, a young girl who loved animals. At a tender age, she had dreamed and envisioned herself becoming a veterinarian. And as she grew, her perseverance to reach that goal grew too. She did not allow adversity to bring her spirit down. The young girl might have known that her dream might not materialize or it might be cut short, but her love for animals gave her joy and faith. She motivated herself, had a great attitude toward life, and kept her grace and smile. She inspired others to set goals and persevere in pursuit of achieving their dreams. You, too, could be like Christee.

About the Author

ABOUT THE AUTHOR One of eight children of Mexican immigrants, Esperanza Rivera is proud of her heritage and is a proud United States citizen. She holds a Juris Doctor degree and has been in the legal field for over thirty-five years. She is a self-made businesswoman with a small boutique consulting firm she established in 1998 to provide services to law firms and small business. She also has teaching credentials and teaches part-time and volunteers in the local community and in her church. She is mom to Christee and David and wife to David Lee for over thirty-eight years.
