One plus two equals three is strictly a math concept, right? The English Equation disagrees. It is the idea that English contains different equations to produce designed results. The English Equation provides ways to teach and help individuals with the strategies to comprehend and analyze reading passages, master reading concepts, develop well-constructed sentences, and paragraphs; even learn ways to enjoy writing regardless of the academic level. It takes the guessing game out of English and opens the door to mastery. The activities will reinforce the idea and challenge thinking. Since this book is called English Equation, it will only equal success.

About the Author

Dr. Stephanie Plain Potter is an award-winning author, counselor, educator, leader, and entrepreneur. She has been named one of the top ten counselors in the Gulf Coast Region, Elite American Educator, Woman of the Year by the National Association of Professional Women, Texas Spotlight Author, and Leader of the Year. She has written ten books and numerous articles. Dr. Potter serves as professor, trainer, and educational consultant in several local colleges in the Houston, Texas area. Many attend her workshops, services, and trainings. Yet, Dr. Stephanie Plain Potter says her greatest accomplishment is being the mother of four wonderful children: Jermaine, Jr., Johnathan, Jordan, and Jennifer Madison.
