“I wondered what challenges I would have to face in my new home and what new adventures I might have at this station which I hope will be last one. I will enjoy to the fullest the pleasant experiences and try to face the challenges with faith and trust in the One who has accompanied me on my journey and sustained me in diverse “trials and tribulations.” If there are new paths to follow, I will ask the Lord to give me the courage to walk them, and if there are only the familiar ones, I will ask him to help me travel them with renewed energy and joy. “

About the Book
The author’s fascination with trains leads him to use the metaphor of a trip on a train and the various stops along the way to describe his journey through life. In the book, Serendipity Station, he tells of his experiences adjusting to life in a retirement community which is the last stop on his journey. He considers the numerous blessings he has received as well as the challenges he has faced and offers some reflections along the way.
