About the Author

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

Steven M.F. Cohen has been a teacher of young children most of his life. To address the lack of «spiritual intelligence» in the mainstream educational system, he founded Mindful Children Alive: a program of spiritual nurturing incorporating centering, mindfulness, loving kindness and the sacredness in everyday life. He has degrees in music, elementary and environmental education. He loves playing the accordion, watercolor painting, canoeing and conducting a children’s chorus. His favorite books are The Chronicles of Narnia.

ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATOR:

Olha Maksymtsiv is a young illustrator from Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine. Olha completed a M.E in Architecture, but considers drawing, and especially the creation of children’s books, to be her vocation.

Creating for children is a special task, because only a child’s soul can feel good, sincerity and truth in a special way. Take care of children! May every child in the world be at peace and quiet.
