1. Things are not always what they seem to be. Learn the real reason why the mysterious bank manager declined Dollar’s application and refused to rent it a safety deposit box to use as a temporary home for it and its siblings and Dollar’s prediction to the bank manager that the time would come when it would come to regret the way it had demoralized and humiliated it and its family that day. Read the day when the bank’s manager had refused to eat its dinner and had to eat its own condensing words he had spoken to Dollar, when he watched predictions that Dollar had made come to pass on the evening news.
2. Small doesn’t necessary means insignificant! And truer words had never been spoken than these wiles. When Dusty said to her husband Dust while residing in Stellar Community, “Nevertheless, hubby, I didn’t believe that the creator had created us without a specific purpose in mind. And I would go to the grave believing that one day, you and I have a great role to play in this big world before it’s all said and done. Nothing worthwhile having is ever easy to achieve, and anything that you can build overnight can also be destroyed overnight.”
3. What’s the driving force in your life? One day, a little feeble caterpillar looked up from its dining table and unknowingly caught a glimpse of what would prove to be the future beckoning to it in the form of a monarch butterfly. And just that one glimpse of that mysterious monarch effortlessly gliding by and riding the wind had cause it to lose equilibrium, as well as its interest in everything it used to enjoy. Because for the first time in all of its existence, it had seen something worth dying for if that is what it took to achieve, rather than to live without.
4. It’s rightly said that those who do not learn from history are doom to repeat it. One extremely cold winter morning, a yellow jacket wasp had to get out of its warm bed and home and brave the subzero temperature on the outside to forage for food to eat and feed its starving family. But only after Mrs. Yellow Jacket had put her foot down and told him, “Don’t come back there empty handed, or else I won’t open the door for you.” The wasp was just a little distance away from its home when the cold, disoriented, angry solitary wasp was blown of course by a bone-chilling gust of wind. That took it a great distance from familiar territory and its home, and it soon found itself clinging to one of the air vents of a multi detention, multipurpose, state-of-the-art climate control structure. And to add insult to injury, he could hear bees singing and humming and having a good old time, and not only that, he could smell the scent of pollen, nectar, and honey coming through the vents. For the moment, that caused the unwise wasp to see the error of its ways and to regret its paycheck-to-paycheck and lack of any kind of preparation for the future lifestyle. He desired to be like the wise bees, which made preparations for the future.
5. One of my personal favorites I’ve titled “My Fictional Interview with a Living Legend.” The legend presently makes its home at a long-term care facility at fairyland park.
