About the Book
Adults and children alike have enjoyed this moving and sentimental tale. A little evergreen tree gets adopted and relocated. His new purpose is to become a Christmas tree. Much excitement, fun, anxious times, and surprises await him. His journey includes finding his important place in two very special families. Charming children’s drawings bring this story alive. Several young artists, many who have never even seen a real evergreen, capture our hero’s emotions and story scenes.
About the Author
Joyce is a retired professional educator. She loves reading to children and treasures their responses. This Michigan native has a natural appreciation for evergreen trees. She was inspired to publish this book after learning that a Scotch pine was planted in memory of her World War II POW-MIA uncle. Her phenomenal husband provides encouragement as well as editorial and proofreading help. While the next story brews in her mind, she can be found teaching line dancing, singing karaoke, traveling, or selling her handmade crosses at craft fairs. She resides somewhere deep in the heart of Texas.
