About the Author
David Melville comes from a long line of writers on both sides. His style doesn’t appear to be from the Melville side. You won’t find unending descriptions of the sea, or page after page detailing a misbehaving whale, as Herman was wont to do. David writes more like the Anderson side. Short sentences and fragments. He has studied ontology for over 30 years. His lovely wife, Lisa, refers to everything he reads as “his mind books.” David has written about a dozen books in his head, and this is the first one to escape. This mind stuff only goes so far, then at some point, it’s gotta get out. He grew up in Kingston, Massachusetts with nine siblings. His parents, Robert and Doris, were both writers. After graduating from the University of Maine, he and Lisa raised six incredible sons in and around Portland, Maine.
