About the Author

Julianne Johnson is a writer, mentor, photographer, and philanthropist. She received a Presidential Volunteer Award for outstanding work helping communities for over a decade. She feels honored to write books that can help others to overcome obstacles. Julianne is a bilingual English instructor and mentor. She helps adult immigrants from a student point of view, implementing strategies aimed toward individual English learning experiences. She participated in courses that reinforced innovative teaching methods in higher education. Her support towards virtual learning and incorporation of digital literacy has allowed her to focus on improving curriculums in different programs. In her volunteer years, she has provided advice to high school students applying to universities and assisted residents in their naturalization process toward citizenship. Her passion for learning keeps her searching for resources, opportunities, and innovative ideas to continue making an impact in other people’s lives.
