ASIO section head Shane Delitani having found drug problems in his own family sends out his top covert operative Ella Portman to Columbia with specific instructions. Find a way to infiltrate the Cartels and gather the information needed to intercept and bring them down. Having formed a romantic attachment to the head of one of the cartels Ella feels things are progressing well. Until the highly paranoid cartel get suspicious and whilst in New Zealand on a marketing trip they turn on Ella drugging her and throwing her over a waterfall to die. Now things really liven up with Shane personally and ASIO collectively seeking untold revenge upon the cartels for her reported death.

About the Author

My Name is Kevin Wiley. I was born in the republic of Hawera in New Zealand and then grew up in a Timber Town called Tokoroa in the forests of the South Waikato. Here I went to school spending as much time as I could to indulge my love of reading and playing sport. I started working at the age of 10 in a bakery house cleaning floors before school then I also did paper deliveries and evening milk deliveries as a way of buying my sporting equipment and paperback books. After high school I was lucky to get an apprenticeship in Radio and Television service with a local electrical company. I moved to Melbourne in my early twenties joining several of my friends on an overseas experience and managing to score a good job working in Digital electronics and Computer Systems at. I then moved into IT systems, and I finally moved on to a System Engineer with the Department of education bringing public schools into the digital information era. My love of sports included 30 years of senior Rugby with Kiwis Rugby Club Melbourne. Golf, Squash, Basketball and a Black Belt in Aikido was only exceeded by my love of reading and telling stories. This led to a promise to a girlfriend some years ago to write a novel about some of her more adventurist activities, thus Ella Portman ASIO covert operative was born. My stories of Ella Portman are aimed at readers who are both male and female who have a love for good spy adventure, and can marvel at the skills of the heroine Ella as she battles both her own fears and the forces of evil.
