Xlibris’s Set Your Own Price (SYOP), which is included in select publishing packages, gives you (as the author) the power to control the retail price of your book while still enjoying the same royalty rates on each copy sold. If you would like to reduce or increase your book's list price, then this is the program for you.

SYOP pricing works on three main factors: your book’s final page count, the type of book—Black & White or Full-Color—and finally whether it is a paperback or hardcover version of your book. If you do not know how many pages your book has, that is ok. Based on the number of pages within your manuscript, we should be able to estimate your book’s final page count. 

With the Set Your Own Price service, you can customize the price for the hardcover and paperback versions of your book separately, and have the option to change the retail price of your book once every quarter.
