When Dan Haggerty of the Circle H Ranch said “Here comes trouble,” he got more than he had bargained for. Who would think the disheveled beauty staggering toward him could cause him so many sleepless nights? All inquiries came to naught until a trip to the café in New Bent Fork brought her face to face with two nasty, mean men from her own area. She knew they kidnapped her, but what happened after? She remembered her past life up to that point. Obsessed with the fact that she had lost her shoes, she tried looking for them but ended up hysterical when she reached the water.

When Dan was unable to come up with any information she decided to try once more. With Dan’s help, she finds them and regains the rest of her memory, but runs into trouble with his former fiancee`. A visit to the neighboring ranch settles that matter. Honey was his and he has every plan of keeping her as his own.

About the Author

Gen Carter is a new author with nine novels to her credit. She has always been a compulsive reader and gained her first look into the world beyond by reading her father’s Western Novels and her mother’s Romance Magazines while herding cattle and sheep on the North Dakota prairie. Her works, built around that foundation, are structured by her life experiences that were shared by eleven siblings, a loving husband and her own eight children. She brings a comfortable straightforward look at the personal relationships upon which we all thrive.
