About the Book

Matthew Amos Camden is shipwrecked. Nearing starvation, he locates an island, where a dog is found along with a boa constricvtor. Matthew names the dog Al and finds a friend for life, the dog being his source of food... After the elimination of the boa, he finds he must contend with sea snakes that come once a year.

Finding the boat buried in the sand, he digs it out and floats it with a makeshift mast.Disaster strikes,again burying the boat. After despair passed , he began again to uncover the boat, vowing not to leave it until he could get it off the island.

Reaching the mainland, he finds family as well as his soulmate.

ABOUT THIS AUTHOR In my case, blindness is not a handicap, but an asset allowing me to do the thing I love most, write. None of this was possible until the VA sent me to Waco to learn how to use the computer. Unable to see the screen, I listen to Jeopardy and any or all ball games, including college football games Although I am linked to the net, I cannot make my computer read much of it. Wife must do that much for me, reading e mails and such.
