About the Author
Amanda has returned to country Victoria, in the district where she grew up, after spending six years in Darwin, Northern Territory. She is happy to return to where her and her husband’s families are so her daughter and new baby can enjoy the same country lifestyle that she did growing up. Amanda has devoted her spare time working with children in secondary and primary schools and kindergartens with her first two books, Grandma’s Garden and Sprookie, Froogle, and the Three Possum Bandits. After seeing firsthand children’s imagination and creativity spark with the thought of Australian animals as superheroes and super crime fighters, Amanda found the inspiration to continue the Sprookie and Froogle’s adventures by writing Sprookie and Froogle’s Tree House Mystery. Lynette Diss, Amanda’s mother, has again helped Amanda create stunning Australian scenery for this book, in between helping on the farm in Langley and spending time with her twelve grandchildren.
