A sequel to Lion of Macedonia and Lord of the World, God of War tells the story of Alexander’s epic and brutal invasion of India, his quest to reach the edge of the world, his disastrous return to the west, and then his untimely death in Babylon. God of War is a meticulously researched and believable dramatization of the final years of Alexander’s life.

About the Author

John McLeod was born in Portsmouth, England, in 1958. The son of a naval officer, his childhood included several years living in Malta and Singapore. He attended the Royal Hospital School, a historic naval academy, before establishing a career in information technology. He currently lives in Rhode Island, USA. His interest in writing and history started at a very young age, culminating in this, the second in a series of historical novels chronicling the life of Alexander the Great.
