About the Book

A young woman runs out of the house of Manuel Ortega, John Jones' client. He enters, finds his client dead, and chases the girl down. Later he finds her five miles off shore in a small boat. He pulls her aboard, she recognizes him and is afraid. Gradually she develops confidence. A storm develops and his boat is blown into Cuban waters. The Cubans load his boat with cocaine and force him to take it to Fort Myers, Florida. Alone for two weeks, they fall in love. Fay's original mindset and John's feelings of having done her wrong cannot break the barrier between them. Their love life and cocaine disposition from the story.


About the Author

Mr. John H. Cunningham is married and he and his wife Rose have two children and two grandchildren. He served three and a half years in the Army Air Corps during WWII and flew fifty combat missions over Nazi Germany. He continued his education after his discharge and graduated from Georgia Institute if Technology in 1950. Practicing architecture as a principal in his own firm, he also found time to invest in real estate and write. He has published several articles and eight poems and is currently working on several other manuscripts.
