About the Book
Nurse Sarah from Millmerran in the Darling Downs of Queensland wants to help her brother escape from his drug addiction and his role in the distribution. But he knows too much. Sarah looks for a secret hideout in Sydney to escape danger from the drug leaders, who through bent cops, have ability to trace and monitor phone calls. Sarah is engaged to marry a talented footballer, who with his coach Len, has moved from NSW to establish a new A-league team for the Darling Downs. Len wants to coach this, his first A-league team, having moved on from lesser roles in NSW. Len’s expertise is well known, and he is forever sought to help solve local crimes and hunt criminals. Sarah and her brother are traced leading to a number of thrilling escapes with help from Len. Sarah cannot understand why she has been taken for reasons other than concealing her brother. When the reason is finally revealed it leads to a change in her life ambition.
About the Author
Ron McCarthy was State Manager for Telstra Australia. He played State grade football with an Australian legend, and golf against Sitiveni Rabuka just weeks after his Fijian coup. He’s thankful for his achievements in sport and business and the rewards of pleasure and excitement. But it’s the advice learnt along the way he’s been able to give to others that he’s most grateful for. To accept change, learn new skills, be creative, achieve more goals, and enhance self-esteem.
