About the Book
This is another collection of short stories, it was originally entitled “Room 13 And Other Short-Stories,” but I decided to just call it Room 13. “Buddies,” “Room 13”, “When Time Ran Out,” and “A Private Matter,” were all written in 1995. I had just returned to the bay area after my divorce in 1993, and these stories are a little more intense and on the edge of your seat thrillers. “Mirror” was originally written in 1987 or thereabouts, after locating the disc and seeing the story, I was determined to finish it and put it on to another disc. “Mirror” is a very touching story about a human being who gave up on his life after his previous one came to an abrupt halt on day. It is by far one of the most touching stories about the human soul that I have ever written. “Market Street”, “11”, “When Morning Came”, “Cries In The Night”, “Shadows”, and “The Other One” were all written at work this year, 2000. “Shadows” is short but powerful that came to my head one day while at lunch, as I got home that night I thought to myself that I had not written a story in a few days, and so that story came into being. “The Other One” is a story that I could have continued and it was easy for me to write because I believe in guardian angels as well as dark angels. You never know who is watching you, and yes we are always being watched by someone, perhaps our guardian angel that we all have. As usual thanks for reading my stories. And the story begins…
