There is an old saying that goes:  “Out with the old and in with the new.” Well that is what has happened now. The time has come for the old guard to break in the kid, as everyone calls him. It is time to see if he has what it takes to be in the business of doing what needs to be done, when they are called to do their business. In other words, he is a member of a very notorious family where they get things done no matter what. If someone owes them money and they need to get rid of that person for whatever reason, they take care of it. If they need to get rid of someone, they do it no matter what the reason and there are never any questions, you do what they tell you to do. The kid has been with them for sometime now, and now is the time to see if he has what it takes. Then there is the old man; the old man is from the old regime, from the good old days. He hates the kid, he literally hates the kid with a passion and he does not want the kid to be around. The old man knows that the only reason why the kid is around is because of his family, but his family members are old now or dead, and now the kid has to fend for himself. The title speaks for itself. And the story begins…

He is the author of 11 novels, and over eight collections of short stories. Lloyd works for a Law Firm in San Francisco’s Financial District.
