AS I RECALL is the 100 columns Rogers Small wrote for the Newport, NH Argus Champion over a 3 year period. The Column was honored by the New Hampshire Press Association in September 2001.

Because so many readers of As I Recall expressed a whish that they become a book it was only a matter of time before the old recollections found a way home together. Most of the stories took place back in the 50’s and 60’s when Mr. Small was in his prime – at least he thought he was…

About the Author

Roger Small was the Food Service Director of a rural New Hampshire nursing home until he was fired/quit in 1990. Previous to that he had been in Hotel Management with Hyatt House, Holiday Inns and Ramada Inns. For the past decade Mr. Small has written a weekly column in two local newspapers. He has published 5 non-fiction books and has written 2 screenplays.
